The Primary-Suite takes up the entire 2nd floor, has a dedicated work space, private full bath ensuite, and offers complete separation and privacy from the downstairs bedrooms. Equally spacious is the downstairs King-Suite, with mountain views, a romantic fireplace, and private bathroom ensuite with oversized shower, soaking tub, and separate separate sinks. A third bedroom also has a private bath ensuite with double-sinks, along with a student desk, and two queen beds so big kids have plenty of room to spread out. Outdoor rear patio offers an up-close view of the surrounding mountains while BBQ-ing your favorite meals. Our home also has a dedicated laundry/utility room with washer/dryer and a deep wash-sink.

The name Cahuilla means “rulers” or “powerful ones” and presumably comes from the Spanish interpretation of Kawíka, meaning “mountain-ward.” Cahuilla was the name given to the local Native-American tribes whose Idyllic lifestyle and legacy in the area go back thousands of years. We encourage guests to visit the history museum and art studios in downtown La Quinta for more local Arts and Culture!
